A thread for discussing movies Today I found this while doing housework. Two films on a single VHS tape seems like it'd be a bit of an annoyance. Like, what if I just wanted to watch Bad Boys? I don't wanna have to sit there and fast forward through all of Men In Black first.

would gladly fast forward thru men in black even if there was nothing else on the tape to assert my dominance against the mib series
never seen bad boys tho. i dont accept the reality that will smith is viewed as an actor, fresh prince was dope tho, just cant see him as much beyond a comedic actor, which hes good at but idunno stay in yr lane WHY are you in suicide squad, and so forth

bad boys is legit, watch it. bb2 is alright as well, but quite a step down from the first.

There's an upcoming movie about five people trapped in the elevator belonging to World Trade Center's North Tower. It stars Whoopi Goldberg and Charlie Sheen (plus Luis Guzmán, who I've always liked). How do you think this movie will turn out? It's not the first time Whoopi has acted in a drama (there's The Color Purple from 1985), but since I haven't seen that movie I only can picture her as the over-the-top really kooky character (as shown in Ghost and Theodore Rex). Should be interesting to see how this role goes. And Charlie Sheen is a great dramatic actor, so I know he will bring it. variety.com/2016/film/news/charlie-sheen-whoopi-goldberg-nine-eleven-1201723971/www.imdb.com/title/tt4917224/?ref_=rvi_tt

Hahaha
I'm sorta on the fence with this movie. It could be... disappointing, but also good if pulled off just right. I like the plot. There's no release date yet though.

as a comedic actor
I might be willing to give you pursuit if happyness too but when it comes to him trying to play characters who are supposed to be really Kool or really capable, I dunno hes such an intrinsic goofball to me.

I totally dig Will Smith, he's good even in really lousy movies. Seven Pounds sucked balls, but he was tremendous in it.

Mickey Rourke is fantastic. I loved him in Nine 1/2 Weeks. What a chilling and layered performance.
